Maximize Your Business Success Today

Interested in hearing more about what I've done with other companies?

Wondering what projects I have done to improve things at other companies? Or perhaps you're unsure what a business analyst can do for a company?

Below is a list of practical business consulting projects I've completed and some highlighted solutions I was able to develop for the companies I've partnered with in the past.

Financial Management for a Group Practice

The business owner of a group practice needed help visualizing and forecasting the company's financials and data for their service-based industry.

First, I identified the priorities of the business by doing an in-depth financial analysis and discussing with the owner which problems felt the biggest. We tackled those together by streamlining budgets AND finding out from the team what experiences had the largest value added. This allowed us to cut costs while still ensuring the team felt valued and supported by the things that mattered most to them.

As the financial fires were put out, I was able to help the owner shift from a REACTIONARY mindset to a PROACTIVE mindset, both by supporting the owner and identifying solutions.

I worked closely with the team and leadership to identify areas where we could gather data for their company that would help them better understand their industry and clients, and continue a proactive mindset throughout the team. I designed dashboards for their leadership to empower their decision-making with the backing of live data reporting.

As a result, the team felt stable, the owner felt calm and confident again, and the company was able to hire additional employees to support their growing waitlist!

Business Growth Strategies for an Education Center

A fledgling professional education center that hosted speaking events had all of the drive and value to grow, but the pricing model was undeveloped, and unexpected costs kept the center in debt.

I collaborated with the center's coordinator to develop a transparent pricing model that reflected the significant effort and work invested in the training events. I worked together with them to identify expansion opportunities and outline the requirements to get there.

While we mapped out their goals for expansion, I ensured that we kept their personal capacity in mind and outlined the support needed to get the expansion level they desired. I then created a dashboard so that the coordinator could easily spot problem areas and adjust to needs as they arise.

As a result, every workshop is poised to be profitable, and the center as a whole has a clear path back to focus on the joy of their events and not worry about growing debts.

Executive Coaching for a CEO

The CEO of a very successful asset management firm was struggling to keep all of the details of their day-to-day operations organized. It was at the point of affecting their performance in the company and their personal life.

To prevent ruptures, I immediately stepped in simply as an executive assistant. I prepped their calendar for the month, rescheduled events that were double-booked, and prepped agendas and meeting documents ahead of time for a simple handoff to the owner.

As their chaos calmed, I developed a highly personalized routine for the CEO to stay on their calendar and decision making in a way that made the most sense for their life. I helped them shift from a reactive mindset to a proactive and balanced one.

From there, we were able to start identifying personal and professional goals, break down milestones, and plan steps to get there. We also explored personal grace in balance with professional goals and the struggle high-achieving perfectionists can have with that.

As a result of our partnership, the owner had more organized days AND confidently knew how to reclaim their peace if they started to feel behind. Due to their ADHD, we continued regular check-ins for months while they practiced their new routines and continued working on their proactive and flexible mindset.

Process Development for Growing Remodel & Design Firm

The owner of a small remodel and design firm struggled with their sudden success. They had more clients than their team could keep up with, and the very manual processes to get bids and orders out that had sufficed in their earlier years now resulted in lost customers.

I learned the ins and outs of their workflow and the variety of projects. I then collaborated with the team to document their workflows, tailored to the project type. I worked with the owner to streamline and standardize processes in a way that supported the team while opening up opportunities for reduced business expenses.

I then developed simplified forms for bids and invoices that were standardized AND easily customizable. This replaced the manual ones and saved us hours per bid for their large projects.  Because we weren't recreating the forms each time and only customizing the templates I developed, details weren't missed, projects ended with a clean hand off, and there was far clearer communication and expectations between the clients and the team.

As a result of our partnership, the firm was able to take on larger projects with quicker turnaround. They were able to take advantage of their rising popularity and get over the hump from the owner doing everything themselves to delegation to their well prepared team.
